Installation of Steel Structures (OL3)

On May 2011, our long-term co-operation with Technip Offshore Finland Oy in Nuclear Power Plant construction site Olkiluoto 3 in Finland started. The project consisted of assembling of prefabricated steel structures situated in different buildings and levels of the nuclear power plant in a very tight time schedule and under high safe operations requirements.

Our employees in Technip project

We started with small amount of welders and fitters, but soon the project extended consisting over 300 of our employees working simultaneously on site OL3.

• Fitters
• Quality Control Personnel (IWS and IWE)
• HSE Personnel

All employees were with competence to meet with nuclear power plant quality standards and Technip Safety standards. The welders were certified in required level of the WPS in Finland and they had to pass Technip own internal welding test. The fitters had to be able to read 3D pictures and do tag welding when needed. All our personnel on site OL3 benefitted from numerous Safety trainings organized by Technip.
